Nathaniel del Rosario

I am graduating with a Bachelor's in Data Science concentrating in ML/AI from UC San Diego in March. Previously, I spent wonderful summers interning at Bio-Rad (2024), San Diego Supercomputer Center (2023), Chan Zuckerberg Biohub (2022). I am also committed to democratizing data science education and have served as an Instructional Assistant to over 1500 students at the Hacioglu Data Science Institute. After graduation I will begin graduate school at UC Berkeley.

My strengths lie in bridging the harmonious intersection between healthcare and ML / AI. Consequently, my research interests center around decreasing bias of ML methods, experimentation/causal inference, and different applications of data science and machine learning, which I have explored through projects in computer vision, geospatial information systems (GIS), and industry experience in applications for bioinformatics, biotech, and healthcare.
